hello, all!
man, what a day! finally got my network card configured so thought i would
move onto a boot floppy... now, i am using 2.0.35 on RH5.0 and used 'make
zdisk' to put the kernel image on a floppy. when i rebooted with the
floppy in the drive it started to load, with full stops going along the
screen, then it rebooted the machine...hmmm...
now, just to get things straight, booting from the floppy should bypass
lilo, shouldn't it? am i doing something else particularly stupid? hehe...
