The first stage boot loader was able to load the second stage
bootloader, but has failed to execute it. This can either be caused by a
geometry mismatch or by moving /etc/lilo/boot.b without running the map
installer.

Right there the IDE should now be boot with different disk geometries
from the SCSI.

Check the BIOS, see if the info there reflects the disk condition. I got
the same error when working with someone else drive on my box.

Sure about that ?, I though it was very involved boot SCSI before an IDE
drive.
