3dfx Drivers for 3d banshee for Linux

Hi.  i am a newbie and I am wondering about getting my 3dfx Banshee runing
with 3dfx drivers.  Is there any drivers out for it or what do i do to make
it work in 3dfx.  And what is the difference between KDE, GNU,GUI and all
those 3letter shortcuts???
Where can I get major already zipped html pages for download so i can
expand my Linux information collection???
