Hello,

I have a Linux box with RedHat 5.2 and the new kernel 2.2.2. I am in a
LAN (maybe 50 computers). There are four operating systems: Unix, Linux,
Windows95, WindowsNT. I had 2.0.36 kernel for a while (and no problems),
but now I have 2.2.2. It seems everything works fine, except one thing:
when I try to get some files from Linux machines the connection slows
down (1/10).
E.g.: a file from a Unix machine it comes to my box with ~800kb/s, and a
file from a Linux machine comes to me with ~80kb/s. If I try to put a
file on the other Linux machines, it works normally (800kb/s).
I tried with ftp and lynx, and - the same story.

Somebody had similar problems? Can I solve somehow this mess?

TIA.
