Look at the Xfree86 web site (http://www.xfree86.org/) They have a whole bunch
of readme files for various cards. You'll find the cirrus one there (sorry
don't know the exact URL). I had a CL-5465 which required specific options
with xfree86 3.1.1 (? I think). The latest version works with no options :-)
Unfortunately I have changed this card to an S3 virge since my AGP port on the
motherboard now seems to be somewhat duff :-( Life, huh...
I currently have RH5.2 on my work PC which has an inbuilt CL-5434. It works
okay without any specific options. The installation detected the chip fine.
Just can't get the resolution I want since I have a real old Apricot monitor
(model XJ55639 if anyone has a spec for this).
If you have problems with the cirrus, let me know and I'll see if I can dig
out the exact URL.
John.
