        Um... for tar and gzip check their man pages or try `tar --help`
and `gzip -h`.  That would give you more than enough information.  If you
think you can't work with the prompt, get Midnight Commander (MC) which is
a Norton Commander clone and can show you the contents of .tar, .tar.gz,
.gz, .zip files very easy.
