use ln to create links (ln -s to create symlinks and ln alone to create
hard links)
You can run all commands as root thoug telnet session , but you have to
login as another user and use su (su -) to become root. This is to make
life a little more difficult to crackers.[ but you may change this
default behaviour if you want: just add pseudo ttys to /etc/securetty and
that's it !!].

Objet: Ok I have an idea
If I go to the machine and log in as root I can run all the comands.
1) Why cant I run them from remote through telnet?
2)Also how do I make a symbolic link. I thought the command was
'symlink' but
it appears that I dont have that command. Any ideas?
Thanks again!
