Why does xterm box/window appear when I run something from within X-Windows
(like xeyes)?
Is there a way to run programs from within X-Windows without the xterm launching
at the same
time?
I am running RH5.1 from the Linux Mall Dist CDROM. I am using X-Windows from
the same disk.
I am not sure of the version of the kernal or X-Windows, but I do know that the
CDROM is from a
purchase I made last August (1998), which I believe to be fairly recent.
