Are you talking about xterm showing up as soon as you go into X-Windows?
Do a "ls -a" in your directory to check for the .workspace (which may have
another name). Under wmconfig, it's going to save the apps you had open
last. If you had an xterm, it's going to remember and reload xterm when
next you login (or type 'startx').
