I use an old version of pine, 3.96 (when i use it).
I dont know why they have changed its behaviour, i would imagen they have a
good reason to do so.

I was of course taking my configuration as a standardly installed program,
so i realy need to put it in another way. Older versions of pine do not need
1777. So i realy cant comment anymore on why 1777 is needed.
