how are they going to access the dir? by telnet, ftp, or samba?
with ftp and samba, it should be easy. with telnet, i guess you
can change their shell to rbash or some other restricted shell
but that's not very secure as there are lotsa ways to break out
of the restricted area. so if you were to ask me, i'd recommend
samba or ftp, but since you say it's a windows network, i
guess samba would be the best choice.
