I am on a Windows NT network and I want to add a Linux machine for users to store files on.  Is there a way I can add about 300 users (students) and set permissions so the user has full access to his directory and no access to any other directory, administrators group and teachers group (groups from the NT domain) should have full access to all the students directories.
 
We do not have a Linux server set up at the school yet, but I want to try it and this would be a great start for us!
