Hey guys...I already downloaded the source for 2.2.5, and was reading the
documentation (specifically, versions of certain utilities/programs needed
for safely compiling the kernel). I've got a few questions about some
utilities of mine that *might* not work:

I don't seem to have the following...do I need them?  :

Procps
Procinfo
C++ Library
Net-tools
Autofs
NCPFS
PCMCIA-CS (I don't have use for PCMCIA cards)

The following versions might be too old:

Libc5...I was unable to tell what version I've got
Kernel modutils: I've got 2.1.85 Is that earlier than 2.1.121 ?
Loadlin: I use 1.6 Is that earlier than 1.6a? And will 1.6 still do the
job              correctly if it is?
NFS: my version is earlier, but I have no need to access NFS file systems...
Util-Linux: not sure of my version, but is this mandatory anyway?

++++++++++++++++++++

Any info on these would be greatly appreciated.
