Is that all the message said, "An Error Occured"? Did it say anything else?
If not, check to see if any pertinant messages were logged to other consoles. Type
ctrl+alt+F1, ctrl+alt+F2, ctrl+alt+F3, etc. to see all the other consoles. I believe
that the RH installation uses three different ones.
You can always make a boot disk after the installation, but if you can't install
LILO then you've got problems. Check to make sure that you have virus checking
turned off in your BIOS. That would affect your ability to write LILO to the hard
drive's MBR, but it should affect a floppy drive, I don't think.
