        I have no idea what do you mean by boot floppy.  Does it contain a
copy of the kernel or just lilo?  If you use lilo, than it's not that
hard.  Just make those boot disk and root disk from the RH CD - rawrite
the images.  Than mount your root partition, insert a reliable floppy and
run lilo again - just in case check /etc/lilo.conf.  This warning is
because if you change /etc/lilo.conf and do not run lilo after that, than
you won't see the changes you've made.  And now, maybe you forgot those
changes.  If on your boot floppy there was a kernel, than you'll have to
use dd to copy a kernel back on a reliable disk.  It can be painful to
recompile in this state.  For more details, check the Bootdisk-HOWTO.  It
is on the RH CD and you can also find it online.
