I don't know but i recommend you walk through the whole configuration
thing and choose only what you need.
you will get a smaller and more efficient kernel than the default one.

Subject: Q-Kernel.

Hi there.

I'm in doubt about the kernel. I have installed RH5.2 her with the kernel
2-0
 -
36-07 from the RH5.2 in a box.

I want to get a subject clear:

1:When installed ALL subjects I have the kernel 2.0.36-0.7 in my system.

2:I want to add the AX25 to my kernel.

3:And I use make xconfig in an X-Window.

4:Is the default options there equal to my new installed kernel from
before
 ??.

5:Or have I to walk through all steps, as the dafult options here is NOT
equal
   to my default kernel.

What say fellows ??
