i've tried this a couple of ways, but hte easiest to get 
set up is Dragon Linux.

(I think that's the right URL).  I've just started experimenting with 
it.  Haven't set up X-Windows and PPP yet. They're my next challenges.
But i've the basic bash shell and all.  can wonder aroudn the 
structure.  Far easier than the UMSDOS Slackware distribution i tried 
once before.
