Yesterday I install Slackware 3.6 on a Compaq Deskpro: Pentium II Celeron 333 MHZ with 32 meg ram, 4 gig ide drive with a Matrox MGA-G100 AGP video card. The installation was done on a 2 gig partition on the drive. The installation went fine without any visible errors. When it came to booting it up it gets to the login prompt and freezes. I can't even do a control-alt-delete. I have to power down the machine to reboot. Please help!
