copying WIN95 to LINUX

Can anyone help me with the following problem??

I have two PC's. One with WIN95 installed and one with LINUX. I have
files on the WIN95 PC which I want to copy to the LINUX PC. Unfortunatly
the zipped files are bigger than 3Mb or bigger. How can I copy these
files to my LINUX PC. I have a NULL-modem cable but can I use this
between two different OS's?
