        This is more than sufficient for running Linux.  And if it's main
aim in life is to run as a packet BBS it's probably over-kill.  I've got a
friend here who runs a packet BBS on linux with a 586(aka 486), 1mb video,
16mb ram, 2x cdrom.  And this system is also the server for his lan.

        I don't know a great deal about packet radio, but I can give you
one tip...Stay right away from Glibc it breaks all the ax25 stuff in
Linux.
