I just installed the paride system on my laptop to use my Addonics
parallel port cdrom drive. The driver it uses is the on26 driver. My
questions are:
1. Does paride (using on26) support parallel port pass through, because
I cannot print with my printer hooked up through the cd drive. During
boot, lp is listed as 0x0378, and pcd0 is listed as 0x378.
2. I also can't get the cdplay (or any other audio cd player) command to
play an audio cd that is in my cd drive. Is this possible, or does it
only work with internal cd drives? I can mount data cd's though.
Also, on an unrelated note, I can't get the logout button on the gnome
panel (1.0.4) to work, it just does nothing.
I am using a RH5.2 system, with Enlightenment 0.15.5 and the newest
release of gnome. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
