I have been trying to install licq and have run into numerous failed
dependencies. And when I try to correct it with the proper library I get
a failed dependency for that library...Are certain programs more prone
to these problems?
Perhaps I didn't do a good job of installing the os in the first place
(Red Hat 5.1).
It just seems so confusing with these libraries. I have a couple of
books on Linux but they don't go into that very much. I mean like for
this licq to need all these libraries seems odd, it can't be that
complex, can it?
Why are there source files and binaries, and how do I know which ones I
need?
