If slackware was installed properly, then there should be no need to
recompile at all, ne.o should already be located in /lib/modules/2.x.x/net
But possably you need "ne2k-pci.o" which is installed by slackware-3.6 at
least.

Not realy true for standard isa cards, 0x300 is probed automaticly.
You only need to define the ioport and irq if they are "non standard".
Check /usr/src/linux/driver/net/ne.c for the "standard" addresses.
