In short: Yes. It will work. I have a Compaq Presario 1234 running Windows98
on a FAT32 partition. For Linux You'll create a new partition (ext2fs) so
there'll be no problem. You'll even be able to mount the Windows partition
as a vfat type and read/write it. No problems here.
