Probably. If I recall correctly, RH 5.2 ships with a version of X11 that is
one or two short of current. But why trust my memory? To be sure, check at
www.xfree86.org and see what the authoritative source says.
Beyond that suggestion, I'm now confused. You seem to have 2 different video
cards: the "VIper 550 form diamond" and the Riva TNT you mentioned in your
prior posting. So I guess you'll need to clarify that before you sort things
out using the XFree site's card list.
