It's sounds like you don't know about the concept of "distributions" (at least
I get that impression by the way your phrased you question).

For information about Linux in general, www.linux.org might be a good place to
start.

RedHat is a distribution - that is, a set of programs that make up a complete
OS. For installation instructions etc I guess it's available at www.redhat.com
(I haven't checked, since I use Debian myself).

Oh, and btw, to get a feel for the differences of the distributions, it might
be a good idea to browse the sites of some of the major ones (www.redhat.com,
www.debian.org, www.slackware.org, www.suse.com, www.caldera.com just to name a
few).

Anyway. Just wanted to say that - "Redhat != Linux". But rather, RedHat is just
one of many Linux *distributions*.
