Hello list members,
I recently installed RedHat 6.0 on a fairly modern PC. It came with the
XFree86 3.3.3.1 server. I am using the SVGA Xserver and cannot seem to get
any of the configuration utilities to detect correctly my Viper V330.
Actually, the utils detect a RIVA 128 card, which is correct, but the
failure appears to be on the clock chip. I have done some digging on
DejaNews and xfree86.org but I just keep running across my question and no
answer.
I'll buy a new card if necessary, but I had this very same card working fine
with an older version of XFree86 and it bugs me that I can't figure it out.
Any help would be flat-out kewl.
