I am extremely new to the linux realm, with a whopping two weeks of experience under
my belt. I'm probably biting off more than I can chew, but what the heck.

I have an ADSL connection to the internet and am trying to setup a linux box with one
NIC going to the DSL modem, and a second going to an internal network via
hub. I would simply like the ability for other systems within the LAN to access the
internet through that system.

Currently, the main linux box can see the internet, and the internal network. It has
an IP address assigned to each NIC, and everyone on the LAN can see the
"internal" address. I've been going through the HOWTO's and several books on linux
but the only network configuration information I've been able to find refers
to linking one internal network to another and the instructions there don't seem to
apply. I've read the HOWTO on Firewalling, but it assumes most of the basic
network configuring is already done. Can anyone refer me to a particular source that
shows how to connect a small LAN to the internet through a linux box?
