Well ... what features of the 2.2.x kernel do you actually need? Many of us
more patient (or is it cowardly?) Linux users are still using the 2.0.x
series, while we wait for our more adventurous cousins to find all the
problems with the newer versions. The RH product in particular has been out
for only about 2 weeks, and all the lists are reporting problems with it
(mostly related to the glibc upgrade, as far as I can tell, not the Linux
kernel itself).
If you don't need the new capabilities, why not retreat to RH 5.2 or some
other distribution for now ... wait until the dust settles and RH 6.1 shows up?
