All i can say at the minute is the following which was told to me many
times before, Linux is still in development, it will take years to *perfect
it*, (NOTE the perfection bit), perfected kernels _have_ already been
released ie, 2.0.x as Ray pointed out, now the moral of it all is;

If you have Redhat or whatever (working system installed) been using it for
*ages* and it has never barffed on you, then why in hell's name break it by
installing a brand new installation which has just become available.

You could at least have installed the new system on another partition,
giving you the possabilty of falling back onto your old "lovable working
system" if the new one stinks.

Its also like my mother used to say, "I told you so".

As a matter of fact i have just become the proud owner of a brand spanking
new redhat 6.0 cd, its going into a new partition later on this evening, i
am keeping my slackware-3.6 tho' just in case.
