1. What do you think should happen when you type "lisa"? I don't know of any standard Linux/Unix command by that name, and I have no man page for it. 2. cdrun.exe is surely a program meant to run under Windows, not Linux. Linux can't run Windows programs (except through an emulator like wine). You won't be able to run this or any other program on the CD on your Linux host. 3. I don't know anything about installing sound cards in Linux. To get help from the people on this list who do know about them, you will need to tell us what sound card you are trying to install. Before doing so, though, you might want to look at the Sound HowTo (at http://metalab.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/Sound-HOWTO.html and probably on your Linux host somewhere in /usr/doc - the exact location differs bydistribution and version).
