Huum, now thats something i have overlooked, i will certanly admit that its
been a long time since i even looked at the man page for syslog, however it
also says, "might give you back some performance " now a normal linux user
would not need to worry about that.

But anyway, thats  a real gotya.

Pity i cant say "delibarate mistake" ;-)
