Well, ONE place is your .bashrc (in RedHat, default shell is bash.) The
syntax is as follows (from memory):
alias ls='ls --color'

i.e. alias <new alias command>='<command line>' Please note that these are
SINGLE quotes..... I'm sure there are other places they go as well, but
that's one place. As for how to create aliases for the ppp dial-up process,
I'm clueless on that one. :-)
