Here's my take on it:
With Linux, I have some problems, but they are one-time issues. Things
like "please detect my soundcard" or "How do I setup X Windows".
With Windows 95 I also have some problems, but they are long term
issues. Things like "Why isn't there a powerful scripting language
available" or "The Microsoft Novell Client doesn't behave according to
spec".
There are two reasons for this:
1) Linux is more flexible and generalized. Windows 95 comes with
nothing and most of the tools built for it are too specialized.
2) With Linux, you can Use The Source.
