Yes, but there is a differance. kppp will handle the business of
supplying the right command line params to pppd for you, based on the
relatively simple GUI interface settings. Doing this by hand is
considerable more involved for a less knwoledgeable user. So while
running `ppp-go` might not work, using kppp might, on the same system.
Mind you I've had good successes lately with pppsetup so that is a good
option too.
