I didn't compile mc. However, I also noticed some strange behaviour of the
mouse while using it in X-Windows. When I move the mouse downwards and stop
the cursor moves back up again. This makes me wonder whether I may have a
hardware problem. I'll check replace the mouse and see if it works better.
