Hi Peter:
        Don't feel like you're alone in the world, we've all been here.
Dependencies can be rather frustrating.  Took me some time to figure out
what the messages were really saying.
        Yes, you downloaded all the packages, but the order they are installed is
important in order to avoid these errors.  If you install the following
files first, you should then be able to install the remainder without
errors.  When you install them, they are added to the installed files rpm
database which is used when installing for dependency checks.

libguile.so.2
glib = 1.0.6
umb-scheme
gtk+ >= 1.2.1
