I have RH 6.0 and am trying to get my floppy
to work from dos. All it does is lock up the machine so I have to reboot it to
regain control.
In the /etc/dosemu.conf file, I set
the line
$_floppy_a="threeinch:/dev/fd0" as
the comments suggest. My floppy works fine in Linux and I have unmounted
it before trying to run dos.
when I type a: or dir a: or anything
with an a: in it, the machine keyboard locks up so I have to do a re-boot to get
control again.
It must be something simple, but I have read
through every doc file and HOWTO manual I can find and little is mentioned about
the floppy drive other than what I have done.
any help or ideas would be
appreciated.
thanks
