I am not at all current with dosemu, but you should not have to reboot
your machine to get control.  Control-c or at worst switching to another
vt and killing the dos process should be sufficient.  If it locks up
your machine, that is a serious bug in dosemu, and you should probably
belabor them with it until they fix it.
