Reading about linuxconf in several books I heard that it is the aim of
RedHat to create a configuration tool that works on any Linux distribution.
That is maybe the reason why so few things can be done with linuxconf
compared to the tools that come along with SuSE (the only great thing i can
say about SuSE).
To answer your question based on what I have read, it is possible to use
linuxocnf with a SuSE ditribution. BUT I myself have never tried it and
somehow I have the strange feeling that it may be not a good idea to do so.
If you like your system the way it is, then don't try it, if you like
reinstalling and try-on-error projects then just try it out.
