Thanks for the info.  I have used YaST quite a bit, and generally like
it.  After writing this request to the list for info, I checked out
Freshmeat and read some of the comments, most of which were horror
stories.

It's probably a better learning experience to simply configure all the
individual files for the individual software packages.  I guess
Linuxconf isn't as neato-keeno as I had once hoped.
