I've seen a couple answers to the question you seem to be asking, but I
just want to make sure that that IS what you are asking.
Do you want to know how to write just any batch file/script? Or are you
looking for the Linux equivalent of the dos autoexec.bat file? If the
former, the answers already provided should suffice. If the latter
we'll need to know what distribution you are running (RedHat, Slackware,
Debian, etc).
