"man" titles

Is there a way of getting a listing of the titles of all the "man" topics?

I am creating a list on another computer (in Word) because I can't find the
way (if there is one) of locating an index of man topics, with just the
first line description.

As an experiment, I entered 'man a', then 'man ab' and was surprised when
"ab" appeared
as "Apache HTTP server benchmarking tool". The thought of using every
alphabetical combination has been discarded.
