Hi,
I suppose they are attached to the secondary ide controller.
Create the directory /dvd and modify your /etc/fstab
remove the line which says anything about /cdrom and add the following lines instead:
/dev/hdc /dvd auto noauto,ro 0 0
/dev/hdd /cdrom auto noauto,ro 0 0
then you can type
mount /cdrom to mount the cdrom and
mount /dvd to mount the dvd
