        That is not a dumb question, it is a good one. I knew about how to install
it because it was described in my RH 5.2 distribution's CD booklet, i dunno
if there are instructions on the kde website.
        But i run always into the problem to find missing dependencies and i too
cannot locate the files if they are not either on my linux CDs or it is
clear to which package the files belong to. But to me this is a general
problem with Linux and will cause (unnecessary) frsutration for zillions of
users.
        Can't there anything be done about it ? Can't the programmer or creator of
packages include where to get the required packages / programs / libs /
orwhatever ?
