The easiest way is to install everything you need all at once and let glint
figure out the order. However, since glint is history...

The KDE page at www.kde.org has a short installation guide listing what order
stuff should be installed in. It's also included in a README in their ftp
section. There also used to be an install script for Redhat, but I don't
know if it's been updated for RH6.0. Gnome has similar instructions.

If you can't find README's or install instructions for a package, look for
failed dependencies (KPackage is nice since it lists these without trying to
install the package first). Then look at the dependencies for further
dependencies.

It would be nice if everything you needed were in one package, but then you'd
end up with 20Meg packages.
