The "q" for quit.
Try a "h" also that will give you a help page.
If you stop 'man' with a ctrl-Z you should NOT get a zombie process, what
you have done is stopped the process but not killed it, 'jobs' should show
that, to kill off the processes which you call zombies type 'fg 1' then
enter a "q" repeat with 'fg 2' 3 etc, untill all processes have been killed
properly. There no need to reboot to get rid of your so_called zombie
processes.
