Mounting question

When I'm in kde and I try to mount my cd/floppy, I get the following 
message "mount, only root can mount /dev/cdom on /mnt/cdrom. 
The same with the floppy drive. I have already changed the  suid on 
mount so that not only root can use it but what else do I have to 
change?
