There is...and it will take a lot of drive space...at least
a GIG of HD space to install EVERYTHING (via Custom
install) except for the foreign-language "HOW-TO" files.
That will be BEFORE you have any "user" space....and while
you're doing the install you can hit (I think) F1 on any
package and it'll come up with a screen telling you about
it.
What I have done (all three times) each time I've installed
Linux is skip directly to the bottom and select "install
everything" and "select packages." At that time you can go
down the list of what you want installed and don't want
installed!
