Well the golden tip was included, (Redhat) so here we go.

You can turn nfs off with "linucxconf"  "netconf"  "ntsysv" and there
was another one which i have forgotten, it was mentioned here the
otherday.

You can  of course delete the symlink in /etc/rc.d/rc3.d called
S60nfs, but thats a drastic measure.
